The Different Types of Rings

Diamond

It’s well known that diamonds are the most popular choice for engagement rings because they can come in a wide range of sizes and shapes. These have a distinct number of inclusions, colors, and cuts. Taylor only buys ethically mined diamond or sustainably grown lab created diamonds. They come in many gorgeous cuts such as round, princess, oval, emerald, cushion, marquise, and more.

Moissanite

First discovered in Arizona inside a meteorite crater more than 100 years ago, this rare stone is mostly created in laboratories as a more affordable alternative to diamonds. Sterling silver is an alloy that contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% of a different metal, such as copper, which makes it stronger compared to pure silver. However, it’s still softer than other materials used to make rings and will also tarnish, so it will need to be cleaned regularly. The trade-off is that silver is much more affordable than other metals, but isn’t recommended for use in everyday jewelry such as engagement rings.
