One-of-a-kind Jewelry made right here!
Most jewelry in a case was chosen from a vendor catalog and ordered by the dozen. This collection is the opposite. Every ring, pendant, and pair of earrings here started as a sketch on Taylor's bench, usually because a stone came across it that was too good to sell loose.
He designs the setting around that specific stone: the proportions of the halo, the sweep of the shank, where the light needs to get underneath. Then he casts it, sets it, and finishes it here in Blue Ash. Nothing is mailed to a factory, and nothing is made a second time.
If a design speaks to you but the stone is not quite right, that is an easy conversation. We can build your version through custom design, using a stone you already own or one we source for you.
No reorders and no duplicates. Once a piece leaves the case, that design is retired.
Taylor selects every sapphire, tourmaline, and diamond himself, for colour and life, not just a grading report.
14k and 18k gold and platinum, hand-polished. No plating, no hollow shanks, no shortcuts you would only find later.
Sizing, repair, and free cleaning happen at the same bench that built the piece.
How a Designed by Taylor piece gets made
Four stages, all of them under one roof in Blue Ash. It is the reason these pieces cost what they do, and the reason they hold up.
The stone comes first
Taylor buys stones he cannot walk away from, colour, cut, and life in person, not just a certificate. The design follows the stone, never the other way around.
Drawn, then modelled in 3D
Sketch to CAD, where the proportions get argued over: halo spacing, gallery height, how much light gets under the stone.
Cast in solid gold or platinum
14k and 18k gold and platinum only. Every stone is hand-set under the microscope, and every surface is hand-polished before it goes in the case.
Checked, sized, and yours
Sizing is included, and prongs get inspected before you walk out. Bring it back any time for a free clean and a check.

You are buying from the person who made it
There is no sales floor between you and the bench. Ask how a setting was built and you will get the answer from the person who built it.
A master goldsmith on-site
Design, casting, setting, and finishing all happen in Blue Ash. Your piece is never shipped to a third-party workshop.
Honest, transparent pricing
No hidden fees and no pressure. You see the number before anything is made, and we will happily explain what drives it.

Designed by Taylor, answered
Is every piece really one of a kind? +
Yes. Each design in this collection was built around a specific stone Taylor bought, so it cannot be reordered even if we wanted to. We can make something in the same spirit for you, but it will be its own piece, which is rather the point.
Can a piece be resized before I take it home? +
Almost always, and standard sizing is included. Bring it in and we will size it here, usually within a few days, sometimes the same day. Anything unusual, like eternity bands or bezel-heavy shanks, we will talk through first.
What metals and stones do you use? +
Solid 14k and 18k yellow, white, and rose gold, plus platinum. Never plated, never hollow. Centre stones range from sapphire, tourmaline, tanzanite, and garnet through to natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds, we will explain the difference without steering you.
Can you build my version of a design I like here? +
That is one of the most common ways a custom project starts. Show Taylor the piece you love, bring your own stone or an old ring to reuse, and you will see a 3D model before you spend anything. Most custom work is finished in four to five weeks.
Are these suitable for an engagement ring? +
Many of them are made for exactly that, and a coloured centre stone is an increasingly popular choice. If you would rather start from a diamond, our engagement ring process walks you through stone selection with no pressure and no rush.
How should I care for the piece? +
Warm water, a soft brush, and take it off before the gym or the garden. Beyond that, bring it in, cleaning is free every day we are open, and we will check the prongs while it is on the bench.
Do I need an appraisal for insurance? +
For a one-of-a-kind piece, we strongly recommend it, a replacement cannot simply be reordered. We prepare written appraisals on-site, so your jewelry stays with you.
Can I trade in or consign jewelry I no longer wear? +
Yes. Old gold and stones can go straight into a new design, or we can sell pieces for you through consignment. You can also browse what is currently in our estate and consignment case.
