About the collection

The piece people see first deserves a stone worth seeing.

A pendant hangs at eye level, it is the first piece of jewelry anyone notices. That is why this case leans into colour: opals with real play, tanzanite and sapphire picked in person, and one-of-a-kind drops from the Designed by Taylor bench and the Inner Fire Collection.

The unglamorous parts matter just as much: solid clasps, chains with real gold weight, and bails built so the pendant sits flat instead of flipping. Every chain is fitted to you at the counter, the difference between a necklace you wear and one that lives in the drawer is usually an inch of length.

Choosing a diamond pendant? We will lay out lab-grown and natural options side by side and let you decide.

Fitted to you

Chain length adjusted at the bench so the pendant sits exactly where it should, free with any necklace.

Stones with real colour

Opal, tanzanite, sapphire, and tourmaline, every stone turned in Taylor's hand before it was bought.

Chains that hold

Solid gold links and proper clasps, checked at the bench, not just out of a supplier bag.

Looked after for life

Free cleaning any day we are open, plus clasp checks and repairs at the same bench.

The gift that gets worn daily

A pendant is the easiest gift to get right.

No ring size to guess, no fit to worry about, a birthstone, an anniversary stone, or a diamond that goes with everything. Tell us the occasion and the person, and we will pull three pieces worth seeing.

Questions we get asked

Buying a necklace, answered

What chain length should I choose? +

Eighteen inches is the classic pendant length and the safe gift default. But necklines and proportions differ, which is why we fit the chain on you at the counter, adjustments are free with any necklace.

Is opal too delicate to wear often? +

In a pendant, opal is a fine everyday stone, it hangs away from knocks, unlike a ring. Our opal pieces are bezel-set or halo-protected for exactly that reason. Keep it away from extreme heat, and bring it in for free cleaning rather than ultrasonic machines at home.

My chain broke. Can you fix it? +

Almost always, and usually within days, solder repairs, new clasps, and restringing all happen at our bench, not a mail-away service. Repair inquiries are free, whether or not you bought it here.

Can you make a pendant from my stone? +

Yes, an heirloom diamond or a stone from a retired ring is the most common custom pendant we make. You approve a 3D model first, and most pieces finish in four to five weeks.

Lab-grown or natural for a diamond pendant? +

Both are real diamonds. Lab-grown buys a noticeably larger stone at eye level, where size reads most; natural carries the rarity. We will show both side by side and let you decide.
